A Weekend of Insight and Sharing

Like You Have Never Experienced Before

_RCP0974.jpg

Who is it for and What can it do for you?

This Wisdom Circle Experience is for coaches, trainers and change-workers.

You may be running your own business, you maybe a solopreneur, you may work for others.  Whatever your circumstances, this event, attended by like minded people, focused, reflective and considerate will draw out considerable wisdom to help and support you through this amazingly human life - full of challenges and uncertainties.

This Wisdom Circle is also for anyone who wants to be coached.

One to one coaching is often expensive.

This wisdom circle will be full of coaches and change-workers

A real opportunity to receive real life support in a group environment, also with the opportunity of one to one coaching sessions over the weekend as well.

What is Ubuntu?

Ubuntu is an ancient African word meaning 'humanity to others'. It is often described as reminding us that

'I am what I am because of who we all are'.

Ubuntu represents interconnectedness, collective and shared responsibility, co-operation, harmony, generosity and reciprocity.

It results in the manifestation of shared prosperity, a greater sense of community, connection and belonging, and celebration of diversity.

This is what we hope you will experience in abundance, when you join us on this groundbreaking weekend.

What is The Ubuntu Wisdom Circle?

2025-10-12 15.54.03.jpg

The core "teaching" (sharing) mode in the Ubuntu tradition is The Circle.

Ubuntu Wisdom Circles offer a powerful means to explore and share experience and perspectiuve, and to overcome smaller or more deep rooted challenges and realise wild exciting dreams.

When you join an Ubuntu Wisdom Circle, you soon realise an obvious fact

"A person is who they are because of other people"

And because of that it follows that

"The wisdom we most need can rarely be found alone".

As independent-minded individuals in the modern western world, we are very often taught the virtues of the solo or solitary path. And of achieving success and attaining satisfaction from "going it alone" and doing it "My Way".

However there is also a saying

"If you want to go fast, go alone.
If you want to go far, go together".

Has the way you've been going about things up to now truly bought you the peace of mind, happiness, fulfilment and success that you so desparately seek, and have been striving for?

If your sense is that there is more available, and you are inspired to explore a more collective and collaborative approach with us...

Welcome to The Circle.

Our Ubuntu Circle this year is being held at Meon Springs Yurt Village, on the beautiful South Downs in Hampshire.

You are invited to Join Us for a weekend of mutual support, love, care, nurture, respect and collective learning. A space releasing what no longer serves... and of creating and stepping into what comes next.

While in The Circle, you can remember:

"What goes on tour, Stays on tour"!

Our intention is to hold a space of complete confidentiality. Where you can be free to be your full self and to explore and be the Real You.

Group Time

A time of giving and receiving

Over the weekend, we will be spending a portion of our time together sitting in Circle (including around a campfire).

This is where you will experience the power of the Circle, and the Ubuntu process.

During this group time, our experienced facilitators and spaceholders will lead and guide the group in a collective conversation, as part of which you will be invited to bring to the group a problem, issue, challenge or opportunity - something current in the landscape of your life - that you would like to source and receive the group's collective wisdom on.

We ask all Co-Creators of the Space to bring their own, unique, individual offering to the Circle - whatever this might be.

This may be an issue that you would like to untangle. A dream as yet unrealised and unfulfilled. A plan not yet brought to fruition. Essentially, anything you would like to achieve, and to receive the support, guidance and nurture you need to receive, in order to get there.

We also welcome your stories, teachings, learnings and experience. Bring your full self - for the benefit of yourself, and others.

Depart

In line with the theme of the weekend, shared accommodation provided in our comfy Ubuntu Village.

You will be staying in authentic (heated!) Mongolian Yurts, all of which are fully equipped with electricity, freshly made beds and storage space, and a woodburning stove.

All food and refreshments will also be included.

However in line with the Ubuntu Culture, food preparation will, to a certain extent, be shared.

(Don't worry - you'll only be asked and invited to do things you want and are capable of doing).

Everything we do over the weekend will be in keeping with this ethos of

"Leave it Better than you Found It".

As we act as temporary custodians of the land and space, knowing it will be preserved and enjoyed by others, in to the future.

This is not a weekend of personal gain, although we do hope as we journey together, that you will discover even more deeply the truth and power of "giving" as the basis of abundant "getting". In this way, we have every reason to believe that considerable personal gain may happen.

Between them, Jonny, Robin and Jamie have a wealth of experience, knowledge and skills in both coaching, leadership and group facilitation. With them, you will be in safe and competent hands as they curate and hold space for both your (individual) and the group's (collective) process.

Robin was born in a village in Zambia, where the Ubuntu Culture remains strong.  In his professional working life, he has spent several decades creating community and holding spaces here in the modern western world, bringing the ancient wisdom forward, keeping it alive, and in to the lives of people of all ages, beliefs and backgrounds, today.

Jonny has had an extensive coaching and leadership career, he will be with us to bring his considerable wisdom, inspiration and support to individuals who attend in all the capacities that will be most useful to them.

Jamie is an owner of Meon Springs.  Having attended Clarity Training with Jamie Smart in 2015, he has gone on to develop  a training and development centre at Meon Springs, which is now flourishing and running a number of courses and programmes for both individuals and corporate clients.  See www.insight.meonsprings.com .

Our invitation to you is to become a Co-Creator of the Space with us, for this special Spring weekend in beautiful rural Hampshire.

Outside the Circles

During your time in Ubuntu Village there will be plenty of time for connection with your fellow Co-Creators, as well as the opportunity for reflection and time out in the stunning surrounding countryside.

Over the course of the weekend, we aim to schedule at least a couple of walks on the local land, as well as offering attendees the opportunity to stretch in a (non-compulsory) yoga session on Sunday morning.

Outside of the formal Circles, your time is yours to use as you please. Our hope is that you will find space to chill out to soak in the fullness of this unique experience - whatever that means to you.

If you feel you would benefit, the facilitators will all be available to you to schedule 1:1 time with over the course of the weekend - either on a walk, over food, with a cup or tea, or around the fire - to give you whatever additional personal input or guidance you feel is needed.
